Serve

We serve by sharing the love we have learned through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. By witnessing and praying with others, we serve Him and follow His example. Simultaneously, we spread His gospel. People learn more about His truth and can ask more in-depth questions.

We also serve in our community various ways with an end-goal of telling people about the good news of Jesus Christ.

Jesus initially passed the task of care to his apostles and then to shepherd all believers (Acts 20:28 NASB1995, John 21:15 NASB1995, Ephesians 4:11 NASB1995, 1 Peter 5:2-4 NASB1995). Thus, care for others following Jesus by helping, accepting, visiting (Luke 15:2 NASB1995, John 13:14 NASB1995, John 4:7-10 NASB1995) and approaching everyone (Proverbs 22:9 NASB1995, Mark 2:1-12 NASB1995).

The overarching command to 'love one another' means to take responsibility for one another and watch over one another in love.

Also, serving others is serving our Lord.(Colossians 3:23 NASB1995).
