Our Beliefs
We believe there is only one God.
We affirm God is eternal and immutable, manifesting Himself in three distinct Persons the Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
We believe in God.
We affirm our God is sovereign, omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (always present) creating everything, sustaining everything and continues creating everything for His Glory. He is a completely loving and Holy God. He is worthy of our wholehearted worship, praise and love in return. (Genesis, Revelation)
We believe in Jesus Christ.
We affirm God's Son, Jesus Christ, is God incarnate and the promised Messiah. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and is truly God in human flesh. He died on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day. Forty days later He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He now intercedes for all who believe in Him. His divinity and supreme authority fulfill Old Testament prophecy. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, who gave His life for our redemption. Jesus' death on the cross bridges the divide between humanity and God for those who believe in Him. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Mark 16:19, Luke 1:34–35, John 1:1, John 1:36–42, John 2:19, John 19:40–42, John 14, John 20:28, Acts 7:56, Hebrews 2:9, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:26, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Timothy 2:5)
We believe in the Holy Spirit.
We affirm God the Holy Spirit present since creation. For any believer, the Holy Spirit is a gift received once the believer is saved then makes a public declaration of water submersed baptism as sacrament symbolizing initiation into faith, the washing away of sins and beginning of a new life in Christ. He is the giver and sustainer of life, sent to secure the future God has promised. The Spirit exposes sin, reveals truth, stirs repentance and faith, brings new birth, and joins believers to Christ, making them sharers in His divine life. Through the Spirit's indwelling presence, Christians experience God's nearness and fellowship. When filled with the Holy Spirit, they receive divine power for witness and service. As believers cultivate the Spirit's fruit and use the spiritual gifts He provides, they strengthen the Church and display the reality of God's kingdom. (Genesis 1:2, Mark 1:8, Luke 1:67, Luke 12:12, John 14:16-17, John 14:26, John 16:13, Acts 2:38, Acts 4:31, Acts 8:15, Acts 8:17, Acts 13:52, Acts 19:2, Romans 8:26, Hebrews 10:15, Hebrews 4:13, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 2 Corinthians 3:17, 2 Timothy 1:14)
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We affirm the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six canonical books of the Old and New Testaments, is wholly inspired by God. Through human authors, God Himself communicated His Word. Scripture is the only written, verbally inspired Word of God-self-attesting, unchanging, and without error in all that it affirms. As God's authoritative, infallible, and sufficient revelation for life, doctrine, and practice, the Bible is to be fully trusted and obeyed. It is without error in the original autographs and stands as God's complete and final written revelation. (Matthew 4:4, John 1:1, John 1:14, Acts 4:31, Luke 8:11, Romans 10:17, 2 Timothy 3:15–17, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:21, Revelation 19:13)
We believe Jesus Christ will return.
We affirm the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will take place. The Second Coming refers to the prophesied, future return of Jesus Christ to Earth. Jesus Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, fulfilling the promise of God's Kingdom. This is linked to the final defeat of evil, the resurrection of the dead and the establishment of an eternal reign of peace and righteousness.
Jesus Christ will return in the clouds to gather His church in the rapture before the coming tribulation that will affect the whole earth. After this period of tribulation, He will return again in His glorious Second Coming, accompanied by His saints and all His holy angels, to establish His Kingdom on earth, where He will reign forever in power and peace. (Matthew 24, Mark 13:26, Luke 21:27, John 14:1-3, John 14:3, Acts 1.11, Hebrews 9:28, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation)
We believe sin separates us from God.
Because of disobedience, humanity fell from the original state given to Adam and Eve, resulting in separation from God. Scripture teaches all people are born with a sinful nature. Through the sacrificial shedding of His blood on the cross, Jesus Christ provided the only means of reconciliation between God and humankind and is the only way to eternal salvation. His blood covers our sins as a ransom. We are saved solely through personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, not by any human merit or effort. Salvation is by God's grace and mercy, received through faith it is His gift. (Genesis 3, Genesis 4, John 5:24, Romans 3:10, Romans 10:13, Romans 23, Romans 5:8–9, Ephesians 2:8–10, John 3:16–19, Titus 3:5)
We believe God loves us.
God loves us and seeks a relationship with us. His desire is for us to be with Him and to enjoy Him for all eternity. This is why Jesus Christ came into the world so through faith in Him alone, we can be reconciled to God through His sacrifice. He calls every person, regardless of the depth of their sin, to repent and turn to Him in faith. To all who do, He grants forgiveness and eternal access to His home in Heaven. (John 14:3, Acts 16:31, Galatians 2:20, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)
We believe genuine believers are born again.
By the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are indwelt by Him, baptized into the body of Christ the true Church and sealed by the Spirit. Because of this, we can never be separated from the love of Jesus Christ. (John 3:1–6, Acts 1:4–5, Romans 8:35–39, Ephesians 1:13–14)
We believe in allegiance.
Believers embrace devotion and allegiance to our Lord Jesus Christ. (Joshua 24:15, Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13, 1 Samuel 7:3, Revelation 14:7)
We believe there is a real and literal devil, called Satan.
Along with his fallen angels, demons, and evil spirits, Satan is destined to spend eternity in Hell. For now, they seek to deceive the world, oppose believers and undermine the work of God. Yet they can be resisted by believers, who are protected by God, empowered by the Holy Spirit and supported by the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord. (Genesis 3:1, Job 1:6–12, Matthew 4:1–11, Luke 22:31–32, 1 John 4:4, Revelation 20:10)
We believe Heaven and Hell are real.
Heaven is where the saved will dwell forever, and Hell, or Hades are places of torment where unbelievers will reside forever. (Jude 1:6, Matthew 25:30, Matthew 13:49-50, Mark 9:47-48, Luke 16:22-24, John 14:1-3, Revelation 20:11-15, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 22:5)
We believe in the Lord's Supper.
The Lord's Supper is the regular celebration of Communion as we remember the bruised body and shed blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe this ordinance should be observed only after careful examination of one's heart before God and in a spirit of reverence and thanksgiving before the Lord. (Matthew 26:26, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 10:16, 1 Corinthians 11:24-28)
We believe in miracles.
Miracles happen every day through Jesus Christ in prayer and through the laying of hands.
We believe in the Church.
The many churches of believers around the world build the one collective church body which is the Bride of Jesus Christ where He is the cornerstone. It is our community of believers as brothers and sisters in the name of Jesus Christ. The unity within Jesus Christ prayed is the New Testament church, its practices and fruits. (Matthew 16:18, Matthew 18:20, Ephesians 2:19-20, Ephesians 5:24, Ephesians 5:27, Hebrews 10:25, Ephesians 5:25, 1 Peter 2:5, Revelation 22:16)
We believe in witnessing.
Witnessing is our greatest calling to share the love and forgiveness Jesus Christ has given us with those who have never received Him as their Lord and Savior. Helping to fulfill the Great Commission is both a duty and a privilege. We witness because we love Jesus Christ and He loves us. We witness because we want to honor and obey Him. We witness because He gives us a special love for others. God wants us to witness because of the benefits He offers to those who receive Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:8, Hebrews 10:15, Acts 26:22, John 1:17, 1 John 5:9, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Peter 3:15, 3 John 1:12, 1 Corinthians 1:6, 2 Corinthians 5:20)
We believe in the nation of Israel.
Israel has a special place in God's plans (past, present and future) and all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled both now and at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His millennium reign. (Genesis 12:3, Psalm 122:1)
We believe everything glorifies God.
Everything in both His time and will.
We believe His disciples witnessed.
The disciples of Jesus Christ witnessed His presence, miracles, teachings, death, resurrection, and ascension. Additionally, there are millennia of documented prophecies, acts, facts, artifacts and historical references transcending languages, cultures, generations and continents.
Today we pray with deepest sincerity and fervent hearts.
