Our Beliefs
We believe in God.
Our God is sovereign, omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent (always present) creating everything for His Glory.
We believe there is only one God.
God is eternal and immutable, and manifests Himself in three distinct Persons the Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)
We believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
God's son Jesus Christ is God incarnate, the promised Messiah (John 1:36-42), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35), totally without sin (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26), God in human flesh (John 1:1 & 14; John 20:28), the One who died on the cross for the sins of the world (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), was buried (John 19:40-42), rose again from the dead on the third day (John 2:19), and ascended 40 days later to the right hand of the Father in heaven, where He now intercedes for us who believe in Him (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:56; 1 Timothy 2:5). His divinity and supreme authority are fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. He is our Lord and Savior, who died on the cross for our sins.
We believe in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit of God is present since creation. For any believer, the gift of the Holy Spirit is received once the believer is saved then makes a public declaration of water submersed baptism as sacrament symbolizing initiation into faith, the washing away of sins and beginning of a new life in Christ. The Holy Spirit then indwells the believer, gives the believer gifts and talents, is their Helper in prayer and their friend helping them fulfill God's will in their life and in the lives of others and the church.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
Inspired by God in its entirety, and is without error in the original autographs, and is the complete and final written revelation from God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe Jesus Christ is going to return.
He will return in the clouds to Rapture His church before the coming tribulation upon the whole earth (John 14:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), and He will return in the Second Coming with His saints and all His holy angels to the earth at the end of the tribulation to set up His kingdom on earth, ruling and reigning forever and ever. (Matthew 24; Revelation 19)
We believe humankind is created in the image of God.
Scripture designates unborn babies from the moment of conception within their mother's wombs to as children both before and after birth and using pronouns to refer as children from the moment of conception to birth, making the unborn God's image bearers. Scripture commands the protection of innocent life (Psalm 139:15-16; Jeremiah 1:5). Children innately possess supreme value and worth.
We believe humankind is created as male and female.
God designates all humankind sexes and are wonderfully, immutably created as male or female (as complementary genders) together reflecting the image and nature of God. A person should embrace God's image God made them in. By a direct act of God, He fully reveals His image and both male and female united produces life. (Genesis 1:26-28)
We believe there is a real and literal devil, called Satan.
Along with all his fallen angels, demons, and evil spirits, they are destined to spend eternity in hell, and now seek to deceive the world, defeat the believers, and destroy the work of God, but can be resisted by believers, who are protected by God, the Holy Spirit and the intercession of Jesus Christ our Lord (Genesis 3:1; Job 1:6-12; Matthew 4:1-11; Luke 22:31-32; 1 John 4:4; Revelation 20:10)
We believe humankind is separated from God by sin.
Due to disobedience, humankind fell from the first state of Adam and Eve becoming separated from God. Therefore, according to the Scriptures, all humankind is born with a sinful nature. Jesus Christ's provisional blood on the cross brought reconciliation of God with humankind and is the ONLY WAY to salvation eternally (permanently forever). Jesus Christ has covered our sins with His Blood as ransom. We can only be saved by a personal faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and not by any human merit or performance (John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:10; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5). For by grace and mercy we are saved through faith. It is a gift of God.
We believe heaven and hell are real and literal places.
Where the saved will dwell forever, and hell is a literal place of torment where unbelievers will reside forever. (John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:5)
We believe genuine believers are born again.
By the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, the true church, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and thus, unable to be separated from the love of Jesus Christ. (John 3:1-6; Acts 1:4-5; Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe all believers need to be filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Living a godly life and to be bold in our witness for the Lord. (Romans 8:13-14; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 4:30; Ephesians 5:18)
We believe in the Lord's Supper.
The Lord's Supper is the regular celebration of Communion as we remember the bruised body and shed blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe this ordinance should be observed only after careful examination of one’s heart before God and in a spirit of reverence and thanksgiving before the Lord.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all genuine believers.
In the Lord Jesus Christ which is manifested by using spiritual gifts and evidenced by fruit of the Holy Spirit's presence through His love. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:8-12)
We believe in holiness.
Scriptures teach a lifetime of holiness. Through the Holy Spirit power, we are able to be holy for He is holy. God wills we live for Him as believers, and earnestly pursue imitating God in full obedience to God's Word.
We believe in worshipping the Lord.
We worship through singing, clapping and lifting hands. There is authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord to meet their needs according to God's perfect will and in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ. He answers prayers.
We believe all humankind are loved by God.
He loves and seeks us. He wishes to have us with Him to enjoy Him in and for eternity. It is for this reason Jesus Christ came into this world and by faith in Him alone, man can be reconciled to God through His sacrifice. He calls all, no matter the severity of their sins, to repent of those sins and to turn to Him in faith by which He grants them forgiveness and access to His home and heaven eternally, forever!
We believe in allegiance.
Our devotion and allegiance to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in marriage.
As revealed in the Bible, marriage is a sacred, covenantal union between a man and a woman limiting sexual relations to monogamous, heterosexual marriage. (Genesis 2:18-25)
We believe the solemnizing of a marriage.
A sacred act ordained by God and is a profound event entered into only where the proposed covenantal union is in compliance with the Word of God (Genesis 4:1). The solemnizing of a marriage between men and women of the same sex is contrary to the Word of God and is unbelief before God. (Romans 1:18-32)
We believe in purity.
God intends sexual intimacy to occur between married men and women. Any form of sexual immorality is unbelief to God. (Romans 1:18-32)
We believe in the laws against immoral relations and behavior.
God's Word outlines immoral relations and behavior as sins against God. (Leviticus 18)
We believe abortion in all its forms is morally unjustified.
Abortion is the indefensible taking of human life (God's image). In short, abortion is murder a sin of the ten commandments. We are theologically opposed to any teaching where abortion due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or the physical or mental well-being of the mother, is morally permissible. We are theologically opposed to providing any financial support for abortions whether directly or through third parties like insurance providers. We object to any teaching, ethic, or political view in favor of abortion. (Ephesians 1:2-14)
We believe life is to be preserved without exception.
Based upon clear biblical teaching and by obedience to the Holy Scriptures, life is to be preserved without exception. (Genesis 9:6)
We believe in miracles.
Miracles happen every day. Jesus Christ heals through the laying on of hands in prayer.
We believe in the Church.
The many churches of believers around the world build the one collective church body which is the Bride of Jesus Christ where He is the cornerstone. It is our community of believers as brothers and sisters in the name of Jesus Christ. The unity within Jesus Christ prayed is the New Testament church, its practices and fruits.
We believe in stewardship.
Everyone is the steward of their life and resources, all of which ultimately belong to God, the ultimate Provider. We believe tithing is a Biblical mandate and the measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.
We believe in witnessing.
Witnessing is our greatest calling to share the love and forgiveness Jesus Christ has given us with those who have never received Him as their Lord and Savior. Helping to fulfill the Great Commission is both a duty and a privilege. We witness because we love Jesus Christ and He loves us. We witness because we want to honor and obey Him. We witness because He gives us a special love for others. God wants us to witness because of the benefits He offers to those who receive Jesus Christ.
We believe in the nation of Israel.
Israel has a special place in God's plans (past, present and future) and all of the promises of God to Israel will be fulfilled both now and at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to establish His millennium reign. (Genesis 12:3; Psalm 122:1)
We believe everything is to ultimately glorify God.
In both His time and will.
We believe His disciples witnessed.
They witnessed His presence, miracles and teaching. Even more, there are millenniums of documented, substantiated prophecy, acts, facts, artifacts and historical references which translate across languages, people, generations and continents. Evidence is clear and incapable of being refuted or disproved irrefutable.
Today we pray with deepest sincerity and fervent hearts.
You accept the saving blood of Jesus Christ.
